Brazil’s national team coordinator Carlos Alberto Parreira believes that Spain and Germany are still better than Brazil, despite the national team recent success.

The Seleção won the Confederations Cup last month after beating the current World Cup champions Spain 3-0 in the final.

But Parreira thinks Brazil is not as good as Germany and Spain yet, he told Reuters: “We are still far from reaching 100%, Brazil is not the best team in the world, Spain and Germany are still the best teams, but we are getting there.”

Parreira was asked if he would like a World Cup final against Argentina, he said: “Brazil can become champions, Argentina have a great team, a final against them would be very good, playing against them is always a pleasure.”

Brazil’s next game, the first one after the Confederations Cup title, will be played on August 14, in Basel, against Switzerland.
