Livorno striker Paulinho has ended speculation over his future by signing a contract extension until June 2018.

The 27-year-old striker been linked with several clubs in Italy and England, including Inter, Napoli, Sunderland and Tottenham.

However, Paulinho has put pen to paper on a new deal at the Stadio Armando Picchi, which will see him remain at the club for an extra three years, as reported on Football Italia.

The former Juventude striker netted 22 goals in 45 games last term to help Livorno seal promotion to Serie A.

He also scored the decisive goal in the second leg of their play-off clash with Empoli.

Paulinho holds an Italian passport but was capped by the Seleção’s Under-20 team at the 2005 South American Youth Championships, where he scored once during four appearances.
