Cruzeiro are interested in Ignacio Scocco, according to the striker’s agent Fabián Soldini.
The striker shone in the Argentine league and in Copa Libertadores and has been attracting interest from Brazil and Europe.
Scocco’s agent Fabián Soldini talked with Lancenet about Cruzeiro’s interest, he said: “They contacted me recently to talk about this situation, they sayd they will make an offer for the player.
“He is very interested in playing in Brazil, especially for Cruzeiro.”
The striker’s estimated price is US$ 6.5 million, which is considered too high and could complicate a move to Brazilian football.
The agent is not worrried about offers from Europe, he said: “He has offers from Europe, but this is something we can deal with until August 31, so we are not worried about this at the moment.
“Other clubs from Brazil contacted us some time ago, but the talks didn’t develop. Cruzeiro are the only interested club at the moment.”
