Barcelona’s president Sandro Rosell believes that the relationship between Messi and Neymar will be positive and that they will play well alongside each other.
Messi is Barcelona’s and world football’s biggest star while Neymar is regarded as the best Brazilian player and is expected to become a contender for the the best player in the world label.
It has been suggested that the two stars might compete with each other, which could cause more harm than good.
However, Sandro Rosell does not expect any problem to happen between them, he is quoted by Sport as saying: “Messi and Neymar playing together? They are both good people, and good people understand each other.”
The Catalan club’s president also believes the Brazilian star was signed at the right time, he said: “As some say, we were lucky to sign Neymar before the Confederations Cup.”
Neymar has recently undergone a surgery to have his tonsils removed, he is expected to make his debut at Barcelona in August, against his former team Santos.
