Internacional coach Dunga has lamented his side’s performance in the 2-2 draw with Vitoria at the Barradão on the Brasileirão opening weekend.

Vitoria stunned Internacional with two early goals but they came back in the second half to level proceedings and grabbed a point.

Dunga believes that Internacional didn’t start playing until the second half and suffered from the loss of key players such as Leandro Damião.

“It’s a point gained, we only started playing in the second half. We took time getting used to the pitch and the ball.

“We missed many passes, resulting in the goals we conceded. We can’t expect not to concede if we play like that.

“We’ve had several disruptive situations, we were missing four first-team players and we managed to overcome that obstacle.”
