Carlos Alberto Parreira yesterday clearly stated his expectation of his Squad: only the players who evolve and play constantly for their clubs are likely to be included in the Seleção.

Robinho could make the expenses of this rule of principle as of next 17th August against Croatia in friendly match in Split. Indeed, the player has not played for several week following his conflict with FC Santos and president Marcelo Teixeira who refuse to let leave the player for less than 50 million Euros.

“Robinho is not involved any more since the end of the Confederations Cup. If it quickly does not find the football fields, it will be out for the match against Croatia ” Parreria told the Brazilian press.

Parreira however clearly expects Robinho’s club situation to be decided soon “Against Chile, I hope that he will be fit to represent his country. The World cup approaches but I am certain that Robinho will be involved by then and that his life will be quieter. I do not have the slightest doubt on his return to form”.

The possible suspension of the young star by the FIFA does not seem to worry Parreira: “Such a decision would disturb his career completely and the Seleção but I do not think that FIFA will be interfer. This situation will be regulated by the end of the year “.
