Paris Saint-Germain forward Lucas Moura believes that Neymar should be left to make his own decision on whether or not to leave Brazil, following yet another week of speculation.

Lucas, 20, made the switch to the French capital in January as part of a €45 million transfer and believes he is benefitting from the new experiences he is encountering.

Until now, though, Neymar has chosen to remain in Brazilian football but is facing increasing pressure to leave ahead of the 2014 World Cup in order to spearhead Brazil’s challenge next summer.

However, when asked for his opinion, Lucas insisted that he believes it is a decision that should be left to the individual.

“Like I said, I think this is something very private. Very personal,” Lucas told Globo Esporte. If he is feeling good in Brazil, if he is happy, thinks that he is developing and thinks that he should stay then he should stay.

“However, if he thinks he needs to leave then it’s a personal choice. In my opinion, I think it would be interesting to learn more about football. I think we need to leave our comfort zone a bit.”
