Wolfsburg’s Diego has admitted that the team needs to improve their performances in the Bundesliga after a disappointing campaign so far.
Dieter Hecking’s side are currently lying in 13th place after an inconsistent season, and the Brazil midfielder believes they need to push on and get results.
“It is very disappointing when you see that you are not improving in the table,” Diego told Wolfsburger Allgemeine.
“We again had the chance after a home win. But again with the important second step we failed.”
Diego is out of contract in June 2014 and it has been reported that the club will look to sell at the end of the current season if he doesn’t sign a new deal, but the player himself revealed that he was not thinking about his future at the current time.
He added: “I’m feeling good at the moment and for me it is a non-issue.”
