Chelsea playmaker Oscar has praised the way his club are playing by comparing their style to Brazil. The Blues beat Shakhtar 3-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday and Oscar is delighted at the way they have been playing.

The former Internacional player told The Sun that coach Roberto Di Matteo deserves praise for setting up the team this way.

He said: “It is a pleasure to play on a team that attacks this well. I am Brazilian, so of course I love to play this way. It’s very nice to play at a club that has this philosophy. It’s like watching Brazil play.”

Another reason for their form is down to the fluidity in exchanging passes and understanding developed between Oscar and his teammates Eden Hazard and Juan Mata.

“I had a very quick rapport with Juan Mata and Hazard, and this is getting stronger every game we work together.”

Oscar also spoke about his goal on Tuesday, describing it as the finest of his career. “It was a beautiful goal. I have never scored a goal so beautiful in my career, and it was the first time I scored from that distance,” said Oscar.
