Oscar, 21, told Globoesporte: “I’m thinking about it already. I lost the tournament once, while I was playing for Internacional. Now I really want to win it with Chelsea.”

The Brazilian playmaker is also excited at the prospect of meeting former club Internacional’s rivals Corinthians:

“And we may face Corinthians, a big Brazilian club and a rival of both Inter and São Paulo.

“The club will think about it when we get closer to it but the Brazilian players are already thinking about it a little. We think about Brazilian football and Corinthians.”

Chelsea are eligible to enter the Club World Cup at the semi final stage as representatives of Europe after winning last year’s Champions League.

The Club World Cup gets underway in Japan on December 6 although Chelsea will not start their campaign until December 13.

The final takes place on December 16.
