Galatasaray president Unal Aysal has revealed that Felipe Melo"s future at the club will be decided today.
The 29-year-old, who has won 20 caps for Brazil, joined the Turkish club from Juventus on a season-long loan deal last summer.
Galatasaray have reportedly been unwilling to pay the €13 million required to secure Melo"s services on a permanent basis and have instead tried to negotiate a lower fee.
"The point we are at right now looks promising, it is likely that Melo will join Galatasaray, everything will become clear by tomorrow [Thursday] evening," Aysal said on Wednesday.
Felipe Melo enjoyed a fine 2011-12 season with Galatasaray, scoring 12 goals in 36 appearances.
