Rivaldo has been without a club since São Paulo allowed his contract to expire earlier this month and has been looking far and wide for a new club for 2012.
“This morning, we received proposals from Rivaldo’s agent, saying he really wants to play here,” said the Director. “We are happy with the interest, but we see that the player is already 39 years old.”
Rivaldo had been attracting the interest of newly promoted Serie A side Portuguesa, but seems reluctant to consider the Paulista side’s offer.
