“But, it would certainly be much easier to adapt to Barca’s style of play”
“He’s a great player and has his whole career ahead of him. I am sure he will become one of the biggest in football.
“Only time will tell if he can play at the same level as Messi, but he is now gaining maturity. Unlike others, I think he is very humble.”
Deco was also pressed on Santos ahead of the Club World Cup in December, where they may well face Barcelona in the final.
“Santos are playing at a very high level with Ganso and Neymar, who are two top talents,” he told Ona FM.
“Anything can happen, but if Barcelona are 100% focused, they will be hard to beat.”
