Internacional 0-0 Atletico Goianiense
Inter were held to a disappointing goalless draw at home to Goianiense. The hosts now sit in seventh place in the table, while the visitors are in 15th, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
America Mineiro 1-3 Coritiba
Marcos Aurelio opened the scoring for Coritiba after only five minutes, and Bill doubled their advantage on 28′. Kempes pulled one back for America ten minutes into the second half, but Aurelio scored his second on 72′ to seal victory for the visitors.
Bahia 3-1 Figueirense
The home side were 1-0 up at the break, thanks to a goal from Reinaldo on 42 minutes. Avine increased their lead on 72′, before Wellington scored for Figueirense with five minutes to go, setting up a tense finish. However, Jones ensured it was nothing more than a consolation when he scored Bahia’s third in stoppage time.
