Yan Couto has been sending messages to Real Madrid for two months, thinking about his future after this season in which he became a central cog in Girona, LaLiga’s revelation team. The Brazilian does not hide his desire to roam the right side of Merengue.
When asked if Real Madrid is an option for the next step in his career, the footballer did not hesitate to respond: “Yes, yes, if they are interested…I’m not going to lie here.” In the same interview given to Catalunya Radio he also said that he would like to succeed at Manchester City, the owner of his transfer to Curitiba in March 2020.

It is not the first time that Couto openly expresses his desire to shine in the multi-time Spanish and European champion. In January, in an interview on social networks they asked him which team he would like to play for if it weren’t Girona and the footballer answered “Real Madrid”.
Vinicius and Rodrygo are already his teammates in the Brazil team, as is Endrick, who will adopt the Santiago Bernabéu as his new home from mid-year. An eventual adaptation would be easier, in addition to knowing Spanish football: between LaLiga and the Copa del Rey he has eight assists and two goals this season.
