Aston Villa’s Diego Carlos is stressing the importance of mental and physical strength ahead of their Europa Conference League quarter-final second leg against LOSC Lille. With a 2-1 lead from the first match, Villa will face Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Reflecting on his personal recovery and performance, Carlos added, “It’s my second time as Player of the Match and I’m very happy. I came back stronger in my head and in my body. I’m very happy with everything.”
