Out from Internacional’s training because of a herniated disc, Andrés D’Alessandro is recovering from pain at the lower back but still doesn’t want to set a return date to the pitch.
D’Alessandro came to raise the possibility of acting on Wednesday when Inter face Palmeiras in the second-leg of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil. Everything will depend on the course of recovery, although the chances are remote. D’Alessandro hasn’t trained since the 1-0 victory over Palmeiras, in the 24th round of the Brasileirão. He was quoted in Globo Esporte: “I am recovering well. We do not want to set a date, do not want to rush the process. We’ll see. So we do not want to say anything. It worries me because I never had the injury. Anyone can have. I know it’s complicated. But if I’m right, I’ll go see when I feel better, starting to train and do things.”
