FIFA agent Francois Gallardo claims that Barcelona defender Daniel Alves has a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United.

The 31 year-old, who has also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester City, sees his current deal with Barça expire in June 2015.

His agent, Dinah Santana, has previously stated that Alves would prefer to stay in Catalunya, but Gallardo suggests he will be playing in the Premier League next season.

“The player will leave Barcelona next season,” he told Spanish television programme Neox. “He has signed a preliminary agreement with Manchester United.”

Alves joined Barcelona in July 2008 from Sevilla for a reported fee of €35.5 million. Since then, he has made over 300 appearances for the club and won 16 major honours.
