Sambafoot takes a look at last night’s Campeaontao Mineiro action…

Tupi continue their fine run of form with another win against Guarani thanks to goals from Wesley and Rafael giving them a 2-1 win.

Guarani netted a last minute consolation goal through Thiago Melo but it proved not to be enough as they remain bottom of the table while Tupi stay in third.

Tombense also got themselves back to winning ways with a 2-1 win at Boa Esporte thanks to two first half strikers from Junior Negao and Eder overturning a Fernando equaliser.

The home side now see themselves in fourth while Boa drop to ninth place after a third successive defeat.

The final game saw América Mineiro draw 1-1 with Nacional as a late Vanderlei Alves goal cancelled out Kaká’s strike.

América move up to sixth place and Nacional follows them into seventh.
