Pep Guardiola praises Bruno Guimarães
In a press conference before the match between Manchester City and Newcastle, valid for the FA Cup quarter-finals, coach Pep Guardiola was asked about Bruno Guimarães, one of the stars of the Magpies.
In his response, Guardiola lavished praise on Bruno Guimarães. He said that he has been following the midfielder since his time at Lyon and projected that he will continue to grow significantly in his career.
“He is an exceptional midfielder, aggressive, has composure on the ball, aggressive in set pieces. He is truly a very complete midfielder, ever since he played for Lyon. He is at a club that wants to grow. I am sure he is part of their project for the coming years,” said Guardiola.
