Neymar flies to the rescue of flood victims in Brazil

Affected by the natural disaster hitting the south of the country, the football star mobilizes his private plane to deliver emergency aid to the most isolated areas.

Brazil is currently going through a period of unprecedented crisis. For more than a week, violent bad weather has hit the southern regions, causing terrible flooding. The human toll is terrifying with more than 400 deaths recorded and nearly 150,000 people forced to leave their homes urgently. The state of Rio Grande do Sul is particularly affected.

This massive natural disaster moved Brazilian star Neymar. Eager to provide support to his compatriots in distress, he rented an aircraft to transport food and essential supplies to the disaster areas. “Our country is going through dark times, but together we will raise our heads” he declared on social networks, inviting his fans to show solidarity.
