Luis Henrique, back at Olympique de Marseille this year after his time at Botafogo, shared his impressions on his first few months at the Marseille club during an interview with La Marseillaise.

He expressed his gratitude towards the coach, highlighting the importance of his trust in his integration into the team: “I was very happy by his side, and he really made me want to stay in Marseille. When I returned to OM, he hugged me and said, ‘I need you, I want you to be here, and I will give you your chance.’ It’s always incredible when you have the coach’s trust.”

Despite being a substitute, he also praised the opportunities provided by the new coach: “The new coach has also given me opportunities and played me, even if I am not a starter.”

“I will have to give my all”

Showing palpable determination, Luis Henrique expressed his desire to fully establish himself at Olympique de Marseille: “I believe I will succeed in truly establishing myself at OM, but for that, I will have to give my all. As I have already said, my return to Brazil helped me. I came back from Brazil more relaxed, stronger from my experience there, and now I will have to show what people expect from me so that I can truly become a starter in this team.”

With only one goal to his name, he must give more, especially at Marseille.
