Bahia thrashed Corinthians 5-1 on Friday night (24), with goals from Rezende, Cauly, Thaciano (2) and Ademir.
Bahia scored three goals in the first stage. The first goal was scored by Rezende, after a corner taken by Luciano Juba, in the 3rd minute. At 15, Cauly scored a great goal and increased the score. The third goal came from Thaciano’s feet, after Gil stepped on Biel’s foot in the area and the referee awarded a penalty.

Corinthians reduced the score in the 21st minute of the second half with Renato Augusto. The reaction from the home team, however, was short-lived. At 30, Ademir, who had just entered, received a precise pass from Cauly on the counterattack and scored the Squadron’s fourth.
Bahia also scored the fifth goal, once again from a penalty and once again with Thaciano. The one who suffered the penalty was Ademir, who was pushed by Gil.
