Brazil boss Tite has given his blessing for Fred to complete his transfer to Manchester United this week. The Seleção played in Liverpool on Sunday, so the player is likely to travel across to Manchester to quickly complete the deal.
Fred’s agent Gilberto Silva was in the crowd at Anfield on Sunday and it is thought that he will join the player to complete a medical and formalities on a move from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, with Tite’s approval.
"Edu [Gaspar, general coordinator for Brazil’s national team] has a very loyal relationship with the players," said Tite.
"When there is a club-related matter, which is inevitable, they will put it to us and the goal is to resolve it as soon as possible to get the mind geared towards the national team.
"If I were a coach, I would ask him to sign him, too." Brazil will now travel to Vienna ahead of their friendly with Austria this coming Sunday, their final World Cup warm-up match.
