Marcelo Cirino will not play for Flamengo in Wednesday’s Brasileirāo match against Internacional at the Beira Rio stadium in Porto Alegre.
The attacker received a third yellow card of the season on Sunday against Figueirense at the Maracanã, incurring a one game suspension.
The 22-year-old, who has been criticised recently for his inconsistent level of performance, was cautioned for dissent in the second half of the match.
Cirino’s struggling side will be boosted by the expected debut of new signing Paulo Guerrero in Wednesday’s match.
