Brazil right back Danilo is set to be rested tonight during Brazil’s final warm up game ahead of the Copa America.

Danilo injured his right ankle in the victory over Mexico on Sunday and is expected to be rested ahead of Brazil’s tournament opener against Peru on Sunday. The 23 year old is expected to be replaced by Monaco defender Fabinho.

Danilo will now spend the next two days rehabilitating with medical staff with his new club Real Madrid also keeping a close eye on proceedings. Danilo moved to Madrid recently in £23 million deal from FC Porto.
