São Paulo’s Argentinian midfielder Ricardo Centurión is in trouble with club bosses after missing a flight back from Buenos Aires following his side’s 1-0 Copa Libertadores defeat by San Lorenzo.
The ex-Racing Club man had been granted permission to stay on in Buenos Aires after the game and visit family, however he arrived late for his return flight meaning he did not arrive back in São Paulo in time for training on Friday. As a result Centurión will likely have to pay the traditional ‘box’ fine levied in such circumstances.
