Neymar will have to take to the stand in the trial probing his move to Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

According to legal sources consulted by SER, the prosecutors will call on the Brazilian as a witness in the proceedings, in which current Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu, his predecessor Sandro Rosell and the club itself have been charged with tax fraud. Rosell also stands accused of misappropriation. The justification for Neymar being summonsed and having to appear in court is the fact that he personally signed nine of the 13 contracts that are being submitted as evidence of foul play with regard to the ins and outs of the deal taking him to the Catalan capital.
