Atletico Madrid look set to make a move to sign re-sign Filipe Luís this summer.
The 29 year old moved to Chelsea from Atletico in the summer for £16 million but has only made 22 appearances in all competitions for the London side. He has found it difficult to replace either Cesar Azpilicueta or Branislav Ivanovic in the Chelsea line up.
Back in Spain, Atletico have struggled to replace their former left back. Cristian Ansaldi has been injured for most of the season and right back Jesus Gamez had to play on the left in last night’s Champions League win against Bayer Leverkusen.
