Diego Costa is on course to be the leading scorer in Premier League this season and the player who has the most goals in the history of the competition is impressed.
Alan Shearer was asked about his opinion on Chelsea’s front man and Shearer had nothing but good things to say.
“I like Costa. I like how he will go and stand on defenders, how he’ll have a scrap, but in a good way,” said Shearer. “Costa is ideally suited for the Barclays Premier League and to Chelsea and the way Jose Mourinho wants to play.”
Costa is under pressure from Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane for the Premier League golden boot but is still leading the way with 17 goals.
