Damião hasn’t been paid between October and December and he’s gone to court to seek justice.

Damião had completed his one-year loan move to Brazilian champions Cruzeiro, with salaries divided between the two clubs. As mentioned in Globo Esporte, a club spokeperson has confirmed that they’ve paid for two months on Tuesday but the striker has decided to go against the club he joined from Internacional in 2013. Damião is the fifth Santos player to go to court; the others namely, Aranha, Arouca, Eugenio Mena and Matheus Índio.
