Richarlison and Gabriel Magalhães may know each other from the Brazilian national team, but that didn’t seem to matter in the London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal last weekend, which ended in a 3-2 victory for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The fellow countrymen were seen arguing during the match, especially after the final whistle. Far from leaving it on the field, the striker mocked the Gunners defender with a controversial TikTok repost that read: “Brazil’s first choice Striker vs Brazil’s last choice defender”.

The next day, the former Everton player took to his Instagram account in an attempt to downplay the situation and joke about what happened, sharing an edited photo with both players wearing the same shirt that says: “T-shirt of Union. If you fight you have to wear it. Apologize, hug the other person, say ‘I love you’”.

In the caption, Richarlison wrote: “We’re together partner”.
