Fluminense playmaker Conca preferred not to talk about the interest from Corinthians when asked by reporters.
Conca was with his son in Disney in the United States when reporters went after him to comment on his future at Fluminense. The player only talked about the affection the fans have for him and said he’s happy at the club. He was quoted in Lance!: “It is nice to receive this affection. Fluminense supporters are very fanatical and are really fond of me. I’m happy and I try to give it back.” Conca has been the subject of interest from some clubs in Brazil including the likes of Corinthians and São Paulo. Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande were also reported to be keen on him but that seems to have cooled because they completed the signing of Ricardo Goulart from Cruzeiro.
