Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has revealed his sadness after his recall to the Brazil squad was thwarted through injury.
The PSG star scored in their 2-0 win over Marseille in Ligue 1"s L"Classique on Sunday evening, but was forced to be withdrawn after picking up a foot injury later in the game.
Lucas, who had earned his first Selecao call-up for 13 months, was replaced by Anderson Talisca by new coach Dunga.
Lucas told reporters: ‘I am very sad because I am having a really good time in Paris. I was thrilled to return to Brazil and was excited [with the call-up].
‘I had enormous expectations, but unfortunately, that is football."
