Manchester City’s Fernando has revealed that his move to the Etihad over the summer was an easy decision to make.
The midfielder joined City for around £12m from Porto and the 27-year-old thanked the Portuguese club for all their help in his career, but admitted that the choice to join the Premier League champions was a no-brainer.
He told Lancenet: ‘I had an opportunity to join a stronger, more competitive league and City are one hell of a club.
‘Of course I am very grateful for Porto and I all I got there. I got everything I wanted there but I am glad of a new challenge. I want to win the Premier League with City.’
