Leeds United midfielder Chris Dawson captained the under-21 side that thrashed Doncaster Rovers 6-0 recently in the Premier League U21 Cup and he praised the communication between Adryan, Brian Montenegro and Dario Del Fabro.
Montenegro scored a double at Elland Road, whilst Brazilian Adryan gave a timely reminder of his talents but scoring once and assisting two goals in his first appearance at the Championship outfit’s home stadium.
Dawson believes Adryan and the fellow new signings are all starting to settle and he was really pleased with their level of performance against Doncaster.
When speaking to the official club website, Dawson said: “It’s good for competition among the boys.
“It makes us try harder and we’ve all got to play together anyway as team-mates.
“In the last few games we’ve struggled with communication but I thought we did really well together.
“It was a really pleasing performance from us all. It’s a good experience.
“There were quite a few there on Monday evening which was quite pleasing so it’s really important for them to get experience inside the grounds.”
