Jádson played a major part in helping Corinthians defeat Internacional in the latest round of Brasileirão matches but praised his team mates after the game.

The playmaker assisted Paolo Guerrero’s opening goal before a second from Fagner shortly after helped seal a 2-1 victory.

Jádson told Lancenet afterwards that it was a great team effort, he said: “The whole team helped, they ran, were dedicated and so the victory came.

“Our team came from a break, we knew it would be a tough game.

“The team is to be congratulated, everybody helped. We earned three important points.”

When asked about his assist for the opening goal, the midfielder expressed his delight that he could help play a part in his teams win.

Jádson also hopes Corinthians can continue making fast starts after they scored their opening two goals against Internacional within ten minutes yesterday.

“Of course our team always try to seek the goal,” Jádson said.

“This was a game situation. They had a hole in their defense and I could give assistance.

“I do not know if the other games will be this way, but hopefully our team keeps making quick goals to give us peace of mind.”
