Paulinho has endured a mixed time in north London since moving from Corinthians in the summer and if reports are to be believed his time at Tottenham Hotspur could be coming to an end.

II Tempo claim that Italian outfit Roma would like to sign the Brazilian should they be forced to depart with talented playmaker Miralem Pjanić, who has been linked with French champions Paris Saint-German and English champions Manchester United.

This isn’t the first time Paulinho has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane and he admitted recently that he hasn’t enjoyed the rotation policy employed at Spurs.

The Brazilian has featured in the past two matches however and put in solid enough displays to dispute fan opinions that he was only focused on the World Cup and not his duties with his club.

TalkSPORT reported the news from Italian outlet II Tempo that Roma would be willing to loan the Brazilian next season with a view to a permanent move.

However, with new management likely to be in charge of Tottenham next season it remains to be seen whether or not this is a transfer that could materalise.
