The scandal surrounding the transfer of Neymar from Santos to Barcelona has already brought the resignation of club president Sandro Rosell and is now looking like dissuading potential sponsors from investing in the 22-year-old Brazilian according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.
The newspaper claims that big companies do not want their brand associated with a player who might be associated to fraud.
Despite this, none of the 11 current sponsors have withdrawn their sponsorship from the Barcelona star. According to Marca, Neymar earns approximately £30m through sponsorship alone.
