Chelsea attacker Willian has revealed his admiration for manager José Mourinho and talked about the challenges he has faced since playing for the Premier League club.

In an interview with FIFA the 25-year-old targeted success, like Neymar, with club and country, assuming he is picked for the Seleção side this summer.

“My first contact with José Mourinho was very good. He is one of the best coaches in the world and said he was happy with my arrival and that he liked my style.

“We talked a lot and I am enjoying working with him. I am always learning.

“Shakhtar had an identity and harmony. Here you have to run twice because there are only great players but I like that.

“I’m feeling better every day… and I just try to improve.”

Willian has slowly made himself a regular in the Chelsea side since joining at the end of the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian has often been preferred to last season’s player of the year Juan Mata and many believe the tactical role he plays in the Chelsea side is crucial to their style of play.

He hopes to enjoy an even better year following success in 2013.

“2013 was good so hopefully 2014 will be better, winning titles with Chelsea and winning the World Cup.”
