Ramón Díaz is no longer the coach of Vasco. The coach left the Rio de Janeiro club this Saturday (27th), after the 4-0 defeat to Criciúma, at São Januário. The match was valid for the fourth round of the Brazilian Championship.

The assistant, Emiliano Díaz, also leaves the Vasco club. Rafael Paiva, the under-20 team coach, will temporarily take charge of Vasco until a new coach is hired by Cruzmaltino.

“Vasco da Gama informs that immediately after the match, Ramón Díaz and Emiliano Díaz are no longer part of the coaching staff. Rafael Paiva, the under-20 team coach, will take over temporarily,” Vasco said in a statement.
