Barcelona striker Neymar has reflected on making his debut for the club last night, admitting his has fulfilled a dream.
He also said that his relationship with Lionel Messi is already good, Reports Football Espana.
The 21-year-old made a brief appearance from the bench as Barca recorded a 2-2 draw away to Lechia Gdansk on Tuesday evening thanks to goals from Sergi Roberto and Messi.
After the game Neymar commented: “I have fulfilled a dream. I think I need a little more time to get into shape.
“Messi is a great person. He is an idol for me and I am very happy to be here and that I get the chance to play with him.
“Speaking with Messi is very easy. He’s a great player, I’m happy to be here. I am just thinking of helping.”
Neymar could be in line for a first start for the Spanish giants against his former side Santos.
“It will be a bit strange, different, but now I defend Barca’s colours and I’ll give it my all.”
