The Fluminense manager talked with iG about the situation, he said: “When I received the offer, I was in my room with [directors] Sandro Lima and Rodrigo Caetano. When I received the email with the offer, I showed it to everybody.

“Al-Ain are the biggest club in the United Arab Emirates. I was asked if I would accept the offer and I told them that I wouldn"t as I don"t want to break my current contract. I have never done so."

Abel Braga did not rule out a move in the future, he said: “If I think in the future that leaving will be good for the club, I will be the first to admit that and tell the club.
