Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva has been voted 36th in a poll of ‘players who shook the Kop’ by the club’s supporters.
Liverpool’s official website has launched a poll asking fans to vote for their favourite players to form a ranking list of 100 former stars ‘who shook the Kop’.
The Brazilian enters the ranking in 36th place ahead of club legends Steve Heighway, John Toshack and David Fairclough.
Lucas has been an integral part of the Reds side since his move from Grêmio in 2007, although he had rocky beginnings on Merseyside.
But former boss Rafael Benitez put his faith in the midfielder and Lucas would go on to win the fans’ player of the year award for the 2010/11 season.
