Chelsea midfielder Ramires believes that his side can beat any club in the world if they focus, following the club’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United this weekend.

Ramires was influential in the FA Cup encounter as his side clawed back a 2-0 half-time deficit to ensure a replay for a place in the next round of the cup.

The Brazilian, who benefitted from the introduction of Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel, insists that Chelsea can still beat any side if they ensure that they are solid on the the pitch.

“I began the game starting as a holding midfielder but after the entrance of Mikel I had more freedom to join the attack,” he told Lancenet. “Thanks to God, I was able to help with another goal.

“Our team is difficult to beat when we control the pitch but we need this to be constant. If it happens, we have all the conditions to beat any team in the world.”
