Cruzeiro midfielder Alejandro Martinuccio admits he is no clearer on his future, with the club yet to agree a deal with majority owner Fluminense for his services.

Martinuccio, 24, is currently on a year-long loan at Cruzeiro until July 2013, with the Belo Horizonte side owning 20% of the player’s economic rights and possessing a clause to make the deal permanent.

There has been talk in recent days that A Raposa will look to take up their option on the Argentine in the coming days, but the player has confirmed that there is nothing confirmed thus far.

“We have to talk about it,” he told Lancenet. “I like it here, I like Belo Horizonte. It will be great to talk about it all.”

The former Copa Libertadores finalist with Peñarol has made a big impact in Minas Gerais since his arrival and the club are believed to be hopeful of securing him on a longer-term deal.
