Brazilian midfielder Kaká has hinted that he would like to play in the MLS once his days in Europe are over, but not yet.

Kaká, 30, would join his brother Digão in the United States, with the former AC Milan defender currently on the books of MLS side New York Red Bulls.

The former World Player of the Year, who has recently returned to the Brazil national team set-up, has long been linked with a return to Italy with AC Milan, while moves to China or the United States have regularly been mooted.

Now, speaking after Brazil’s fixture with Colombia in New Jersey, he has given his greatest indication yet of where he sees his future lying.

Kaká told reporters: “One day I hope to play in Major League Soccer. I think it’s not the right time, but I like playing here. I have friends who speak well of the MLS.”
