Scolari, 63, led Brazil to a World Cup title in 2002 and, following several victories over England with both Brazil and Portugal, was held in high regard in the United Kingdom.
However, his spell at the helm at Stamford Bridge was short-lived as a glorious start gave way to a dramatic loss of form. Felipão, though, insists he would like to return.
“If I had the chance to go back I would not hesitate,” Scolari said. “The English league is fantastic – the best in the world.”
Scolari also admitted that he fell out with striker Didier Drogba during his time in West London, having selected Nicolas Anelka ahead of the Ivorian.
The Brazilian, though, feels he could still do a good job in the Premier League by implementing some of his homeland’s philosophies.
“Yes we had some problems,” Scolari added. “He wanted to play despite being injured. I said, ‘Your life after football is important to me.’
“He understood differently. When he was in good condition he thought he was the best option but we also had Anelka who was playing very well at the time. That was the start of the problems.
“I am sure that if I went back to England now I would be successful. I know what the players are like and what they need. I think it’s possible to mix my Brazilian style with the English way.”
