AC Milan defender Daniele Bonera believes the Rossoneri’s attack must be built around Alexandre Pato for the 2012-13 campaign following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazil international only made 18 appearances for the Italian side last season due to a recurring thigh problem, but Bonera is confident the 22-year-old will rediscover his top form in this term.
”I have heard from Pato, he is highly motivated because he has solved all his problems,” Bonera said at a press conference.
”The future attack has to be built around him: he is a great champion, but he is young and still has plenty of room for improvement. The attack is being focused around the name of Pato.”
