Inter coach Dorival Junior opted to rest the majority of his regular starters in Sunday’s match up against Grêmio, and instead hoped that his second string team could do the job at the Olimpico.

Despite a slightly weakened team, the Colorado went ahead in the 22nd minute through Jesus Daloto’s 25-yard strike – which happened to take a wicked deflection on it’s way in.

However moments later, it was Grêmio who found themselves in front, thanks to two quick goals from Marquinhos and Marcelo Moreno.

After the interval, the Tricolor dominated proceedings, but against the run of play, the Colorado captain Bolivar grabbed the equaliser with a header fifteen minutes from time.
